After we depart Essendon
Airport we fly at low level along Victoria’s “Shipwreck Coastline” and
over the Twelve Apostles before landing at Warrnambool where
you
are met by your local guide for your limousine tour to Port
Campbell and along the Great Ocean Road. Enjoy a 2 course lunch
at Port Campbell before continuing your tour to the famous
Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and marvel at the dramatic
seascapes carved into the coastline by the harsh Southern Ocean.
Return
to the airport in the afternoon and board your aircraft for
Kangaroo Island where you will be met by your local guide
for transfers to your Ocean View room at Kangaroo Island
Lodge.
After dinner join the Nocturnal Tour and discover the
indigenous wildlife that only comes out at night.
In the morning
you’ll be met and escorted via 4WD vehicle
to Flinders Chase where New Zealand fur seals rest on
the rocks and frolic in the surf under Admiral’s Arch,
a spectacular coastal grotto. On the headland above is a
magnificent
lighthouse
where three light keepers and their families lived maintaining
a warning for ships.
Visit the Remarkable Rocks, huge
natural granite sculptures carved by relentless winds,
rain and salt from the Southern
Ocean.
Enjoy a delicious seafood barbeque lunch served
with fine South Australian wines at one of our private lunch
sites.
Travel to Seal Bay Conservation Park where
you are able to walk with your guide among Sea lions on
a beautiful sandy
beach. Watch pups nursing, or playing in the
surf, see
old bulls bearing
the scars of territorial disputes and learn of
their unique breeding biology.
Our return flight takes us
in a direct route to Melbourne City which we orbit briefly
before
landing back at
Essendon for
your return journey to your hotel.
